The City of Belle Isle recently adopted a Charter
Change creating a City Council-City Manager form of government
which created the position of City Manager. The City Manager
is under the supervision and direction of the City Council and
shall serve as the administrative officer of the City and shall be
responsible for the day to day operation of the
City.
ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES:
The administrative offices of the city are located at 1600 Nela
Avenue, Belle Isle, Fl. 32809. The administrative staff
includes the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant, General
Services Director, Finance Director, City Clerk and City
Manager.
The following services are provided through the
Administrative Services of the city: Occupational license
zoning review, building permit zoning approvals, accounts payable
and receivables, garage sale permits, public records access, and
work order requests.
The administrative staff under the direction of
the City Manager also provides administrative support to the
City Council, advisory committees, Planning and Zoning Board, Code
Enforcement Board, City Manager's office and Office of the Mayor.
