City Staff and Departments

The City has an Administrative Division and a Maintenance Division. The Administrative Division consists of the City Clerk, Finance and Planning and Zoning/Code Enforcement Departments. The Maintenance Division is a single department with a Maintenance Foreman and four additional full time maintenance employees. Employees of the City work under the direction of the City Manager who is responsible for personnel management and the daily operations of the city.

Larry J. Williams
City Manager

Larry Williams is a native of Palisades Park, New Jersey. He graduated from St. John's University in New York with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance and a minor in Business Law.

His broad range of experience encompasses both the private and public sector. In the private sector he has been a Director of Audit for a large mail order business, Finance Director for a large grocery chain, Planning Coordinator for a major theme park, and Director of Sales and Marketing for a historic village.

In the public sector he has been a Municipal and School Board Treasurer, Deputy Director of the Division of Travel and Tourism for the State of New Jersey, authored the State of New Jersey's Master Plan for Tourism Development, and Director of Administration for the Governor of the State of New Jersey.

Since moving to Florida in 1995 he has served as the Chief Administrator for the Town of Eatonville, Florida and as City Administrator of the City of Belle Isle since March 2000. In November 2003 he became the Belle Isle City Manager.

He represents the City on a number of State and Central Florida Boards and Committees
