WASTE
Commencing on October 1, 2019, JJs Waste and Recycling Services serves the City of Belle Isle as the sole provider of solid waste, yard waste and recycling pick up.
If you are handicapped or are unable to bring your waste to the curb for medical reasons, please contact city hall and a staff member will connect you with the appropriate services.

Yard Waste
Yard waste is collected on Mondays.
There is no limit to the quantity of yard waste you can place curbside, but you must make special arrangements for large tree limbs or trunks.
All materials must be in containers, not exceeding the rim of the container by more than one foot, in bags or in tied in bundles not exceeding four feet in length. No container, bag or bundle should exceed 50 pounds.
Recycling
Recycle is collected on Wednesday.
The City of Belle Isle was among the first cities in Florida to have a citywide mandatory recycling program. Initiated in 1989, the program is still one of the most successful in the state.
Household Waste
Household waste is collected on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Place bags or containers curbside after 5 p.m. the evening prior to collection and retrieve them as soon as possible after collection.
There is no limit on quantity, but no single item, bag or container should exceed 50 pounds.
