The City of Belle Isle recently adopted an ordinance that allows for the use of golf carts on certain city streets.  Part of this ordinance defines “Golf Cart Communities” as a subdivision or community within the corporate limits of the city that the Belle Isle City Council has authorized the operation of golf carts on designated streets within such subdivision or community.

Golf carts are allowed throughout the City with the exception of McCoy Road.  Please see the map for designated streets.

If you live in an HOA, the HOA Board may submit a petition for consideration to the City Manager of Belle Isle, please email the City Clerk at yquiceno@belleislefl.gov. 

If there is no HOA where you live, a resident may submit the petition as a private homeowner.
